Maxine is the co-founder of everywoman, a company that for the past 20 years has been working to advance women in business. Today everywoman works with over 70 organisations, cross industry, who want to close their gender pay gap and unlock the talents of all their female employees. Everywoman’s events uncover role models and celebrate the achievements of women in business. Prior to founding everywoman, Maxine worked in the Airline industry in Australia and the Film industry in New York. Together with everywoman Co-Founder Karen Gill, Maxine was appointed the MBE in 2009 in recognition of her service to women’s enterprise and in 2017 the Government’s Women’s Business Council recognised their outstanding commitment to the advancement of women in business.

Max's Top Tips

  • Keep it simple. Be realistic about the business needs and time to do it; you think it will only take a tenth of the time it does. Entrepreneurship can run away with you.
  • The answer to everything lies somewhere in your network - building great relationships is key.
