It’s About Time…Your Business & You

It’s About Time…Your Business & You

This event is brought to you by NatWest Cymru, the University of South Wales, Darwin Gray Solicitors and the Federation of Small Businesses.

When you’re dedicated to your business, can you achieve a healthy work-life balance?

Independent research commissioned by NatWest Insight Consultancy revealed that work-life balance is the biggest challenge facing female-led businesses.

In fact, one female business owner told the researchers: “My love of control… I do it myself… so it is very difficult to manage that balance because I don’t really get to switch off from the business.”

Sounds familiar? At the latest in our series of It’s About Time events, we’ll be focusing on you. How can you – and why should you - put your own wellbeing further up your own to-do list?

Our keynote speaker, Lianne Weaver, will be guiding us through emotional intelligence and self-awareness, in ourselves and others. You’ll get tools and techniques you can take away and use to boost your self-awareness immediately.

We’ll also look at how the health of your business can impact on your own wellbeing. And we will be hearing from a panel of entrepreneurs who have faced their own challenges with finding a balance, and experts with tips to share. The event will include roundtable discussions, and Office Om will be teaching us some mindfulness and movement techniques to help decrease stress and increase wellbeing.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to network and connect with other women in business over coffee and lunch.

It’s About Time…Your Business & You will start with registration, networking and coffee at 9.30am and will close at 2.30pm.

If you have any dietary requirements please let us know by emailing gemma.collins@rbs.co.uk

PS Whilst this is a Women In Business event you don’t have to be a woman to come along. All are welcome!
