Jo's Top Tips 

• You have to stay positive and believe in yourself. When we started the business the first year was incredibly hard but I knew as long as the PR kicked in we’d be there. I knew there was nobody else out there doing this specialist situation in the industry and it just had to be given time. Don’t ever get deflated by things around you and believe in yourself.

• If you’re not passionate about what you do, you won’t succeed. I’ve always had a passion for hair colour, that’s why I still do it, even now. I like helping people feel glamorous and confident.

• Lead by example. I’ve always been the first in and the last one out. I’ve always got my hands dirty and I think you should always be there to get stuck in and work as it team.
